At Harley House Distillery, we’ve always believed that some of the best moments in life happen with a glass in hand, good music in the air, and a great cause at heart.

This September, we’re inviting you to join us for an unforgettable afternoon and evening at our RNLI Garden Party Fundraiser – a celebration of community, craft spirits, and the lifesaving work of Newhaven’s RNLI Lifeboat crew.

Saturday, 6th September, 2:30 pm – 9:30 pm, at Harley House Distillery, Seaford

This is more than just a party – it’s a way to give back to the volunteers who keep our coast safe all year round. And with 100% of proceeds going directly to our local RNLI, every sip really does make a difference.

Live Music, Cocktails, and a Proper Garden Gathering

Our distillery garden will come alive with music, laughter, and the gentle clink of glasses ( all but plastic and bio-degradable of course!) as we welcome three incredible local acts:

Julie Terry – a firm local favourite with a rich, soulful voice

The Mulekickers – upbeat country rock and feel-good favourites

Bucklers Reel – foot-tapping, fiddle-fuelled folk fun

Between the bands, guests can enjoy:

🍸 A full bar featuring our full spirits range, local ales, and soft drinks

🍹 A brand-new end-of-summer cocktail list, mixed fresh on the day

🧁 Nibbles and home-made cakes to enjoy while you sip

🥃 Distillery tours and guided tastings

🎯 Fun garden games to bring out your competitive side

🎁 Our legendary raffle, with prizes donated by amazing local businesses!

Tickets & Supporting the Cause

Tickets are just £10 per person and include a welcome drink on arrival (choose from alcoholic or non-alcoholic). This is an over-18s event, and we expect tickets to sell quickly, so book early to avoid missing out. Tickets are all available via our website, link below. This will be presented as an e-voucher, which you can present to us on entry.

**Please be aware that there is no parking at our home distillery. We are, however, only a short distance from Seaford town centre and train station, plus there is a bus stop right outside our distillery on Sutton Road, which is served by the number 12 bus.

Each year, our charity raffle is one of the highlights of the Garden Party – and we’re once again asking our amazing community of local businesses to help make it something special.

Whether you can donate a prize, sponsor part of the event, or contribute in another way, we’d love to hear from you. All sponsors and donors will be thanked on our website, in our social media posts, and on the day of the event.

It’s a fantastic way to support an important cause, connect with local customers, and celebrate Sussex’s incredible community spirit.

🌟 Award-Winning Spirits Worth Celebrating

We’re also thrilled to announce that our spirits are making waves once again.

Our Honeysuckle & Hibiscus Gin has just been awarded an incredible 2 Stars at the 2025 Great Taste Awards, with judges praising its delicate floral notes, balance, and craftsmanship.

Not to be outdone, our Prohibition Toffee Spiced Rum was awarded 1 Star, confirming its place as a rich, flavourful crowd-pleaser — perfect over ice or mixed into a cheeky dessert cocktail.

If you haven’t tried them yet, the Garden Party is the perfect chance to see what all the fuss is about. Both will be available on the day – neat, mixed, or as part of a tasting flight.
