The Best Glasses To Use With The Curiosity Series

Updated: Aug 16, 2021

The UK’s true love for gin is nothing new to us. Gin has been around for more than 300 years and this obsession shows no sign of slowing down. In 2019, there were more than 360 registered UK distilleries alone, and the UK gin market is now estimated to be worth over £1 billion.

To enjoy the perfect G&T, there are a few things to think about to make sure your drink sparks and entices your curiosity. When making your drink, traditionally it is composed of; the gin, the tonic, the garnish and the glass in which it is served. We have put a little something together to help you when making your favourite gin drink with our curiosity series and the pairing of the perfect glassware to use. Taking your weekend drink to new levels.

Traditional Hi-ball

When it comes to glassware, aside from the traditional yet bespoke glasses like the martini for specialist drinks. The hi-ball tends to be the traditional glass of choice for a G&T. The design of this glass provides ample space for ice, tonic, and of course, gin.

When filled with ice, the hi-ball’s tall, sleek shape can help to keep your drink cool and tonic water fizzing. This is also a popular choice when it comes to gin-based cocktails, such as our ‘The Gatsby’.

Modern Copa Style

There has also been a rise in popularity of the ‘copa’, or balloon glass in recent years - a curvaceous, bowl-shaped glass with a thin stem that’s regularly used in gin bars. The copa’s spacious, wide bowl enables botanicals and garnishes to work their magic and infuse your drink with aroma and flavour. Making it great for floral, fruity or fragrant gins, whilst the thin stem helps prevent hands from melting the ice.

The Best Glasses For Gin

From hi-ball to copa, martini to tumbler; taking durability, quality, capacity, practicality and comfort into account to find the perfect gin glasses to hold your favourite gin from our Curiosity Series.

The Gin Speakeasy Glass

The spherical shape allows for a generous serving of ice along with the gin and tonic, keeping the drink refreshingly cold. The Speakeasy Glass best accentuates the botanicals of our gins. This glass is best used for The Strawberry One and The Hedgerow One to amplify the botanicals and give you a well-rounded gin experience.

The Drink Me Hi-ball Glass

The design of the hi-ball is to encourage a balanced serve of one part gin and two parts tonic. This glass is tall, slim and elegant, perfect for a long summer drink and enhancing the aromatics of your chosen gin. This glass is best suited to The Lemon One, sticking to traditional but unique flavours, why change the glass, when it works perfectly already for this G&T or gin cocktail.

The Cocktail Hamper

To make your home gin cocktails or just your standard G&T that extra bit special, why not treat yourself or a loved one to our cocktail shaker kit. The perfect addition to your home bar, the full set of everything needed to make those perfect serves.
